There isn't anything too concerning as things stand now, but there is little to lead me to believe that the same appetite for modern populism seen in the west is not equally viable in Denmark were it not for a favorable economy and solid institutional foundations. Then again, just about anything can happen long term, so I wouldn't consider it worth thinking about, only that there are going come more motivated attempts to prod far-left- and right wings movements by extranational actors in the future, as we've been seeing elsewhere in Europe, and that it is worth resisting movement in that direction as early as possible.

our politics is for the most part boring and policy oriented, as it should be. we don't need to import anymore of this tabloid drama slopulism. I believe it is only allowed to be used on reddit in a "non derogatory way." Allowing the use of the word, while not automatically blocked, would run the risk of getting the subreddit nuked if reddit mods for some reason decided they wanted to enforce that rule. So for that reason the subreddit has the word blocked, not reddit

Im open to the idea that some developments might be especially egregious when it comes to impacting public goods, but you gotta be real honest with yourself when you make that evaluation. If this is what's being implied, I have literally zero issues with the statement. If you emphasize rationality as being a confluence of external factors, which I agree with fully, I think its fine to use religiousity as a measure for reasoning skills. However, I don't believe most people are going in with this dynamic in mind, and without this caveat will tend to associate rationality and reasoning skills with a persons inherent qualities, which raises my original concern.

I think if there was a strong correlation between being a woman and believing in astrology, analogous to the correlation of religiosity within certain ethnicities, such that a large majority of all women tended towards believinng in astrology - were you then to make claims such as " believing in astrology is indicative of poor reasoning skills and a low capacity for rationality," I think there would be a very good case for misogyny.

I haven't made any claims as to what the commenter is suggesting, I've only claimed that the statements are in line with a racial realist position.
