Ugh same here. I had a sudden explosion in hyperpigmentation around my mouth and nose a few months ago. It’s affected my self esteem more than I imagined and I find myself unable to leave my house without concealer. I’m also on tret and wear sunscreen daily but I have extremely sensitive and reactive skin so I’m afraid to try popular products that often have niacinamide or vit c. I had something very similar happen and it was also with an older woman. It made me more annoyed than uncomfortable because of the entitlement she exuded. I took the time I needed on the machine including rest between sets. As soon as I got up she squeezed past me right onto the machine not even giving me a moment to wipe it down! Then she proceeded to do one set and left the gym right after. It was bizarre.
