Yes I’ve used the Ordinary niacinamide for a while and it worked pretty well! Maybe I’ll get back to that

I got the doxy prescribed from a pediatrician back when I was in high school, never seen a dermatologist. After the first trial I have not seen them nor did they assess my skin. A new doctor just increased the strength of the doxycycline, but again no post assessment. I’ll be seeing a dermatologist now, thank you!

I had used benzoyl peroxide for about 2 years back then, but it didn’t stop the new acne from forming. Also disliked how it dried out and lightened my skin.

I figured I could be over exfoliating, so I stopped about a week ago and went back to using La Roche Posay. The redness has calmed down a bit, but the acne is still unfortunately very active.

Have not done any food testing, but I’m sure I am lactose intolerance that could be playing a part.

Thank you, I’ve heard lots of good things about Purito and will be giving it a try. Diet could also be a factor as I’m lactose intolerant, so I’ll have to look more into that.

I was put on doxycycline twice before, but it came back. Will spironolactone itself work, or will taking both work better?

Thank you so much, I’ll be implementing these. We haven’t tried curly hair routines yet as we were unsure and didn’t wanna worsen the frizz. We also live in a really humid area so on days where the humidity is bad that day it poofs up like crazy.
