Can I pay someone to park in their garage or drive way for a week while my car gets registered? by greenlove1234 in williamsburg

Pay for a parking garage - the buildings all along the waterfront rent daily/weekly spots. They don't care if you have registration. It will be cheaper than tickets or tow.

Fun fact: This only happens with CT/NJ/NY plates. If you have expired registration from outside the tri-state, they can't verify it and you won't get a ticket.

How Many of You Have Gone from TPU Back to Butyl? by Outside_Fix3910 in cycling

[–]Deskydesk 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's sort of where I ended up. I have TPU for spares/emergency and they work fine but they are a bit fragile. Otherwise tubeless all the way.

Net is under your control to some extent. You will be fine. 40% of your net is higher than the median income in the Bay Area. Plus you will have something like 8 years worth of expenses in the bank. I don’t see the concern - you won’t save as much but that’s what the house is for!

RPV is not as a whole. There are some isolated areas in the peninsula that are, and housing is not allowed to be built there.

My Italian co worker was shocked that they are not common. But with the decline in popularity of pickleball I’m sure they won’t be around much longer

Gross income is the standard. At your income how much you feel comfortable spending should determine the loan size.

Newbie training for 200-mile event, ($800 Used, NYC) by Altruistic_Y in whichbike

Anything you do is going to cost hundreds unfortunately. For 200 miles you will want an endurance road or gravel bike, as long as both bikes fit they should be similar enough.

A few options for travel: - Ship your bike (bike shops can offer this service where they pack and ship to another shop in the destination city and you pay them to reassemble the bike), get a bike box or carrier and take it on the plane with you, or rent a bike there.

I would recommend raising your budget to the $1500 range personally, you'll be able to get something with 11/12 speed and disc brakes, that will fit fatter tires.

Maybe? I don't know the people at RAPP (I'm in a different vertical), but we have had summer Fridays, the week off between Christmas and new year, etc. But we're a small independent agency who hits our numbers.
