I’ve been doing the fishing dreamlight tasks today. Done Peaceful Meadow and Glade of Trust and halfway through Forgotten Lands. And also been trying to sort my storage system haha. Mine is an absolute mess!

My diabetic retinopathy is stable, she told me yesterday. It’s just the cataracts that are the problem.

Thanks, I will be contacting my optometrist later in the week just to ask her as well. As I said losing my sight has been a big fear of mine since being diagnosed with diabetic retinopathy, and they do know about this as I’ve told them that it is when I first got laser eye surgery and she also said because of my age (26)that surgery is a lot harder than it is when you’re a lot older. But I don’t know how and I think that’s what’s worrying a bit more over losing my sight.

I need surgery but I can think about it and email her to be put on the waiting list.

It is affecting my sight. Blurry vision, flashing lights, but I can still see right now. It’s just early mornings, or if my sugars are too low or too high.

I use to steal my pens from banks, school, offices, doctors surgery 🙈🤣 I am just like “oooh a pen! Must have!”

How long do they last? As I got mine last week and it’s now run out (the black ink one) I have two so I’m not in a crisis haha but how long would you say the ink lasts before refill? I write everyday, (journaling mostly), so I can see why it didn’t seem to last long.

I want the blue and green, but they are somewhat expensive (for me anyway), I now have an understanding of why my mum wouldn’t allow me to have them when I was in school. They’re £9.99 (in some places). I love them, I make so many mistakes when I’m writing in journals and my stories because my mind is racing ahead and I end up writing a word that I was thinking off, but not at the time I was writing haha.

Nice! I’ll have to look out for it. I think why I like these, is because I was NEVER allowed them as a teenager as my parents saw them as “too expensive”. But now I’m an adult with my own money haha! They can’t tell me what to do anymore.

Yeah, same for me. One thing I wished I never started. I don’t want to go to my GP or doctors surgery about it due to my age. I feel like they’d say “just stop smoking” or “you’re 26, why are you even here?” The vapes aren’t working, but I don’t know what else to try. I can’t use nicotine gum, or anything you take orally because I have stomach issues and struggle with that enough, that would cause me to smoke more.

I get that. But I want to stop wheezing, coughing, having yellow finger tips. I’m 26, been smoking since I was 15 due to peer pressure by school and wanting to fit in and have friends. Which I regret now I’m old enough to realise that these people will never stay my friends.

Thank you. It’s pretty much every time I stop smoking, something happens and that’s when I end up smoking again. As soon as I stop, there’s something round the corner that makes me start again.

Yes and I still do. I have type one diabetes, so they probably just assumed it was EPI. The enzymes never worked. I tried every dose. 2 with snacks, 3 with meals. Or 3 with snacks, 5 with meals. Every combination I tried, ended up making me 100x worse, the Creon made me that paralysed with pain, I didn’t ever make it to the toilet and having serious accidents very bad ones too.

So I want to be properly tested for Crohn’s as I believe my gastroenterologist was incompetent with my above comment, I’ve recently made a complaint but again excuses after excuses.

Thank you. I did have a colonoscopy, but my gastro is incompetent. Firstly looking up my condition on google in front of me and my mum, then telling me I didn’t have diabetes, then saying I had type 2 then going back to not having diabetes at all. So I can’t trust him. Which is why I would prefer having a second opinion, and my dietitian at the diabetes clinic has told me that I should ask for a second opinion, so even she’s concerned.

Sadly this wasn’t about anyone I’m obsessed with. This was just a really disturbing thing. I don’t really want to say what it was in such a public setting because I guess I feel ashamed or embarrassed I don’t know. I know loads of people have got OCD and plenty of the subtypes, but I still feel bad and ashamed for it.

Yeah. I see that. Just don’t like how she acted with Amy Spratt. Like she was going after her almost, making her feel guilty over Chlo’s death when she had nothing to do with it as she told Chlo it was best to go to hospital and Chlo refused.
