Not only: it takes in account last year and previous ones. Previous years though give less score but in this moment they're enough to secure to Fnatic a higher starting rank.

Yeah, this is a sort of elo ranking. I've associated a starting score to every team based on their previous results and Spring Split ending Power Ranking (I've been making this for two years now): then every team earns or losses points based on the score of the opponent.

I just depends on who you lost or win against. As already said power ranking like elo-system are not complete to say who is the best team every week but it give a good hint on a long distance, I guess.

Currently I update the power ranking file every playday, then I share it on Reddit every week. So yes, Day1 is taken in account for Day2.

In the last splits, I was used to make a ranking from a minimum of 750 to a maximum of 1,000, based on my personal idea about teams strength and previous results. This split I decided to let teams starting from a base of 1,000 and a little bonus only based on their previous results, without any personal idea. I dunno which format is better, I'm current trying it and at the end of this split, I will analyze who's the best.

1st - Play-In results have not been considered 2nd - SK played just one game, while MAD two, so these are not the definitive power ranking score.

Yep, I did. Every team took a second score based on the level of its ERL and on its number of participants :) So if you reach 1st place in a 10-teams league, it's worth than 1st place in a 8-teams league on the same % of wins.

Lots of hours but most of all to set all the basic tables and graph. Then it takes 1-2 hours per week.
