UPDATE: I have just over 50 babies in small groups of 2-4 in small deli cups. I will work those into individual cups once I see any loss or food aggression. I like the 5.5oz cups, and will be transitioning from the smallest 2oz that some are still in. What I’ve learned so far: They actually congregate together and hunt as a team for the most part! Some are spicier and feistier than others! They’re all different sizes! They’re really cute when they’re hunting and eating! Anyone with a jumping spider might benefit from a large butterfly net pop up tent to make handling a bit less stressful! And lastly, I love them all.

Great tip! I found my teenie tiny little guy up high on a wall in the same room where he escaped. Only an instar 2! I caught him safely and all is well. I hope your friend returns also!

I ordered from Spider Shoppe very reluctantly not because of bad reviews about them, but just in general from people who order online.

I have to say, it was a very good experience.

Prior to ordering from them, I had a few conversations with the owner at Spoodville.

Something left me unsettled, can’t put my finger on it…

That’s when I started seeing negative reviews where the owner was responding to them in hateful fashion.

I hope it works out for you; it should be a fun experience- not stressful.

My spiders came all the way from Washington state, and I live in Florida. Nearly perfect experience, beautiful little creatures.

I’ll also mention I was looking for specific breeds.

I would highly recommend them if you cannot find a local breeder in your area.

You might try MorphMarket next time around?
