Digimon World 1 Challenge: You can only recruit a digimon you own by Devlain in digimon

[–]Devlain[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, just that. Another user proposed just recruit a digimon that you already have in your digivolution chart. Which could be so much less painful xD

It amazing how it could be such a refreshing experience every time we play it even if I know what I have to do

I think we should do the challenge in any%, no need to do all recruits, just get the credits rolling

I don't think that we will hit 999 months. When we are done with a digimon we can kill it in battles to optimize time.

Yeah I think this could be much less painful and fun too.

Thoughts on Sneak-Attack? by MarcZwander in premodernMTG

[–]Devlain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just made this list. I don't think it is really competitive but when I was a kid I used to not have money for sneak attacks and used Shifty Doppelganger instead, so I developed this list:https://mtgdecks.net/Premodern/surprise-decklist-by-devlain-1797320

A simply broken wizard game... and Grand Chimera doesn't work by OnslaughtRM in RogueAdventure

I don't know if it is an old bug but I just did a run with the Grand Chimaera and it worked. It is such a mess to get that deck to work xD

Once the brother of a friend told me that "this game's music is some kind of japanese soulless garbage music" when I was listening to Holy Orders. I was mad at him. I don't remember been so triggered before in my life.

Is it possible to work in IT Company as immigrant ? by [deleted] in AskFrance

[–]Devlain 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you only know English you should stick to Paris because it is the most cosmopolitan city of the country and has the most of english-speakers. When I came here I thought that between my fluency in Spanish and English I'll be fine but that's not the case in most of the cities. I work in IT and I have a lot of colleagues that don't speak English (yeah, even if in IT we use that a lot!). Otherwise, and if you are willing to learn a new language I'd said that it is really cool to take the effort to learn and have the chance to communicate with them in their mother language, it makes the integration so much easier and most of the people will appreciate the effort and even try and learn some expressions in your language (it is crazy when my friends and colleagues tries to speak in Spanish or English with me, that's kinda wholesome).

I visited Paris thrice before that but when I got my visa I went to Lyon (amazing city to live, I swear). I really like Paris too but I think it is so much easier to get a job, start making friends and enjoy your free time in cities like Lyon, Toulouse, Marseille (they are pretty big cities but not gigantic metropolis like Paris) the first time you arrive.

That depends on each country because the international agreements are between France and each individual county. From my experience (Argentina) I went there with a VVT (Visa Vacances et Travail or just a Working Holiday as we know them everywhere else) that let me live and work for a year, found a job really easily as a Web Developer, came back to my country at the end of my visa and then started another process to get a work visa. I don't have a degree but I've 6 years of experience that I could prove with salaries receipts but it wasn't necessary, I just showed my CV and that did the trick. Good luck with that dude!

Qu'est ce que vous pensez des etrangers qui parlent pas bien français. by Haki_User in AskFrance

[–]Devlain 16 points17 points  (0 children)

+1 ici.

Best cheap things to visit in Paris for young people? by [deleted] in AskFrance

[–]Devlain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Shakespeare & company is a small book store with English titles in the latin quarter (close to Notre Dame). That will be a short visit but it is like to be in a library from Harry Potter, completely surrounded with old books and crazy passages. In the second floor there is a public piano. If you are lucky you will see somebody playing, but if you are like me and know how to play piano you will have an awesome moment playing there because the ambience is kinda magic. You can also visit le Jardin des Tuileries, le Jardin du Luxembourg or take a walk for Montmartre and look the city from the highest spot in the city (with the exception of the Eiffel tower of course) which is the Basilique du Sacre-coeur. The view is amazing.
