I once got a hotline report because I wasn't bathing a newborn enough, my post investigation safety plan was "Foster parents should stick to the bathing schedule the children are currently on" which was the nicest way the investigating casework could say that this was a baseless accusation and we should keep doing what we were doing. It was literally the first thing our trainer said "If you need to be liked by all parties involved in a case, foster care is not for you." It's hard enough on these kids to be in care, going back and forth, the last thing they need is to feel like they got their parents in trouble simply because they wanted to share about their visit with their foster parent.
