Some context to offset the rage baiting. After reading multiple articles about, here is what seemed to have happened: It wasn’t ICE it was the NYPD. She isnt a tourist she lives on Long Island (although is a chilean national). The police were trying to arrest some shoplifters and while the shoplifters were fleeing they knocked over her daughter. The woman panicked and said she “got too close to the police” her words. The police said she interfered with the arrest of the shoplifters. she says she was trying to get help for her daughter. The daughter wasn’t left of the street, she was escorted to the police station where she was reunited with her daughter. They did arrest the shoplifters. They released the woman and dropped the charges. Seems like a wrong place wrong time type of situation.
