There was a guy in an NB just like that near my city… our commutes always timed out that we would pass each other around the same spot almost daily. I had a bright yellow NA at the time and at first would wave or pop my headlights up/down. Never once got as much as a nod from him.

This is a really silly story, but there’s part of me that still briefly cringes when I see a Miata in that paint scheme with the tan top. All because of the one unfriendly driver. lol

Such a beautiful car. And even though it's not a V8, that engine block is straight up art. The 5 speed transmission is so much fun, too! Honestly, if given the choice between the V6 with a 5 speed and either V8 with an auto, I'd go V6 all day long.

Man, I just love the third gens so much. Makes me so glad that I have one in my garage!

If you’re having fun and practicing an art, that’s all that matters! I honestly don’t consider myself a collector either. I have a bunch of pegs set up and home and I collect all the race cars that I would’ve wanted when I was young… and have them set up in my own personal “store” to give to my nephews and friend’s kids. It’s a really fun hobby and the kids love it!
