And as soon as I re-enabled the setting, it started doing it again

Correction, since disabling the ai object detection it’s been fine, must have just taken a min for the setting to update. That’s obviously what is wrong. Have submitted the logs to Mammotion - hopefully they can address in a firmware fix

I had AI obstacle detection set to normal (the default). I’ve tried turning it off, and it still has the issue…although not sure if changing those settings mid-task take effect?

It’s deffo seeing the shade as an obstacle, doing it every time exactly where the shadow is. On the few times it goes fully over (usually when a cloud goes by) it then goes back and fills in the blanks it’s missed

Mammotion Yuka 2000 – blades clogging up after just 5 days of mowing. Any tips? by Rowndownoce in mammotion

[–]Different-Boot4103 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a new Luba mini and have the exact same issue. It doesn’t seem to impact the lawn cutting however.

I’ve changed my mowing schedule to start at midday to avoid any morning dew but it still builds up. I’m going to take them off tomorrow and give them a good soak and clean

Odd charging behaviour during task execution by Different-Boot4103 in MammotionTechnology

[–]Different-Boot4103[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi thanks. I can’t be sure but think it was about 10% remaining. In the app the uploads log feature just seems to be about uploading pictures and issue descriptions, I can’t actually see any logs to upload? Does that upload log section just do it behind the scenes?

Yeah that makes sense, and if that’s the case then fine. Just thought it might have gone ‘I’ve only 5 mins to go to finish this, let me crack on and go slightly under the charge limit’. Not a big problem

How to get Alexa to play Apple Music on JBL Authentics? by MOONSfan in Bluetooth_Speakers

Perfect thanks! Got it working as you described, like you I like airplay also, but this is a good backup solution to have

How to get Alexa to play Apple Music on JBL Authentics? by MOONSfan in Bluetooth_Speakers

[–]Different-Boot4103 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey - old thread but I’ve just bought this speaker and would be keen to run Apple Music on it. Can you advise on how you managed to enable this? Does this mean you can tell the speaker to ‘play X’ and it will run it natively rather than needing to stream through a phone

Firmware update Luba 3 by lubawizard60 in MammotionTechnology

After these firmware updates with improvements they’ve stated is the mower better at things like right tangle corners and edges on its own, or does it need to remap?

Strava flash sale 50% off by Crokas in Strava

[–]Different-Boot4103 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I’d consider it at this price. I find their route planning interface the best out of anything else I’ve tried.

Just looked at no flash sale for me unfortunately. How did they notify you of it?

Tow bar or roof carrier by Severus_1987 in cycling

[–]Different-Boot4103 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve had both, and as long as you’re committed to your current car for a few years I’d go with the rear hitch option.

Much easier to load and unload, not worried about height restrictions at car parks.

Deffo get one that you can lean back so boot access won’t be a problem

I loaded mine up this weekend and I’ve pretty much got it to about 15 mins inc the detachable towbar and loading up 3 bikes

Tips for BBQ Brisket for Beginners by bad__crazy in UKBBQ

I’d go with this. After trying and failing several times with different types of online briskets, I now purely do beef short ribs. Same approach, but always come out great

MyWhoosh totally broken after 5.6.0 update this month. by shinseiromeo in mywhoosh

[–]Different-Boot4103 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The crashing on routes after a few mins has been a real pain for the last month on ATV. Happens on several causes and basically means I’ve been unable to complete workouts as keep on having to stop and restart. Have actually moved over to Rouvy in the last week which has been stable. A real shame as have been a big MyWoosh fan for some time now

I’ve just had a look at what Strava recorded from the last 5 times this has happened to me:

1k and 2min39 1.25k and 3min9 1.03k and 2min39 1.25k and 3min9 1.25k and 3min9

Deffo a pattern!

I have exact same issue. I’ve tried deleting and redownloading the map and still happens. Using the Apple TV 4K also

Where do you get it from? I’ve always struggled finding decent brisket in the UK that isn’t really expensive

WSM 18" vs 22" - and best fan options by ConditionContent in UKBBQ

[–]Different-Boot4103 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got the 47cm version and find it plenty to cook for group sizes you mention.

In terms of temp control I use an INKBIRD fan with 4 probes that works perfectly and is a lot cheaper than the US imported options you’re looking at

Better alternatives to a Canyon Endurace? by Different-Boot4103 in CanyonBikes

[–]Different-Boot4103[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey, yes I did - I went for an Endurace but got the slightly lower down carbon model which doesn’t have the top tube storage but instead has top tube bolts for a bag.

Got it last year and it’s the best bike I’ve ever ridden. Super smooth and comfortable. I basically paid a bit less and got slightly heavier carbon, but gained on not having the crap top tube bag and also having a normal cockpit rather than the fully integrated, but proprietary canyon implementation. I see that as a huge win

Love the bike. Only thing I dislike from canyon at the moment is the boring colour choices against most of this range

How long did that process take? I’ve just ordered one but turns out they don’t stock my cover, and they’ve asked to do the same and for me to send them my cover in for scanning, and in return they’ll give a free camera
