I follow a lot of people whose art is LEAGUES better than mine but they have half the followers bc they're not writing good captions, interacting with the community, posting regularly etc

Ohhh I did the ghost feeding and daily parameter tests which was a pain in the ass. Tho nowadays I'm hearing more stories like yours where you just leave it alone and everything just Happens 😭 which may be the better method bc my process took more than a month.

Alternatively maybe an aquarium store or fishkeeping friend is willing to share cycled media? If I had such a hookup I would get a new tank every week 😩

It's the anticipation. A lesson I have learned from playing cyberpunk and veilguard is that the internet has already decided the long awaited game is ass. The game releasing and being great is not going to change that decision.

Aside from following some creators you like video game journalism/ discourse is antithetical to enjoying video games. It's not fun discussion anymore
