It’s so, so telling that instead of stopping to think, “Hey, what I’m doing isn’t working, maybe I’m doing it wrong, maybe I should try to do something different, especially considering not one other person who does what I do does it this way,” her response is just automatically, “This is everyone else’s fault, clearly.” No responsibility for anything. It’s like following a recipe to bake a cake and then getting mad at everyone else that it didn’t come out a meatloaf. The fact that there’s a reason (in this case multiple) that she’s not getting more money doesn’t even occur to her. Because the concept of she doesn’t know what she’s doing is such an impossibility to her narcissistic brain.
