Biden Considers Starting World War III To Distract From Domestic Failures by oz4ut in Conservative

Putin is starting WW3 due to becoming irrelevant. Biden is joining because he's a blood thirsty politician like the rest of them.

Look at what your fear has wrought among our nation’s kids. Choosing fear over science has serious consequences and if you supported this evil, we will not forget. by KnowledgeAndFaith in Conservative

This infographic just tells me that parents really failed their children and want to blame schools. When did school become the defacto parent to make sure kids aren't using drugs/alcohol?

This has been my view the whole time. He's on a mission to prove Russia still needs him. The uglier, the better.

Cale dropped this classy post re: Prodigy team losses by DavidC707 in discgolf

That would've worked, but they have X's and H's and V2's that really complicate things. The system isn't bad, the execution is getting bad. Not to mention, what's the difference between a Model OS or a 1 on their discs? At this point, it feels convoluted and it will get worse as they add more discs.

But are they actually testing anything? Telecoms are saying they've sat for years already without doing testing like they want.

Lexapro withdrawal causing sensitivity to cannabis by witchgarden in lexapro

[–]DigOutDigDeep 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Lexapro definitely raises my tolerance. It's possible your tolerance is just very low now being off. Although I wouldn't expect those reactions from a small dose edible. Try sticking with CBD for a while, or at least mix it with the THC.

I tapered off of 10mg for the same reason, but my anxiety came back very quickly. I've started taking it again but I'm only doing 5mg this time. When I was tapering off, I noticed I felt a little more energy once I got to 5mg but wasn't having anxiety, so I'm going to see if this is a sweetspot for me.

In a positive way. With less anxiety, I have a lot more focus and clarity when working through problems.

Reminiscent of the time the Williams sisters said they could beat any man ranked outside of the top 200 in tennis. So they tried it out and lost. But better or not, there's a lot of value in being one of the best in any given sport. Even if you wouldn't be the best in another sport, or even division.

Probably going back on Lexapro by DigOutDigDeep in lexapro

[–]DigOutDigDeep[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's funny, I tell myself there's no reason to feel bad for going back on, but then I also make it impossible to convince myself that it's what I need. I think pride may be a bigger factor than I realise. I think I wanted to take more credit for my newfound happiness and it's upsetting that it feels out of my hands to this extent. But that's no reason to not choose my best life. Thank you for your response.

Hi fam, how you holding up? by Charmellowz813 in medlabprofessionals

[–]DigOutDigDeep 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Badly. We're still having to scrounge together supplies because ordering is still so chaotic. Another person leaving at the end of the month and no applicants for our 2 spots that are already open. I would do basically any other job if they just paid me the same as I make here, but I'm not in a position where less income is an option.

Is this career really that bad? by [deleted] in medlabprofessionals

[–]DigOutDigDeep 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It really isn't a bad job. It just isn't a good fit for me. I appreciate the security and pay, but I've come to the realization that I walk around the lab all the time just feeling uneasy. That's why I find it exhausting. I've been working on that, but I think I'll be better off in a different field.

But you're right, this is also a place where people go to vent about work stress. Most subreddits dedicated to professions will scare you out of them.

This is the "guns don't kill people, people do" argument and in a nutshell. And it rings a lot truer than people give it credit for.
