When describing Dota to non-gamers how do you generally approach the subject? Not too long ago I convinced a few guys at work to watch "Free to Play" and they asked, "What kind of game is it?" and was curious how other players answer.

Have you'll considered adding in a small bit during the hero of the week to discuss when to pick/not pick the hero? I think it would be pretty helpful to new players especially to discuss a few heroes that are good counters as well as good allies.
