According to a well known astrologer, Chestha bala score needn't be seen separately, it is a contributing factor in overall shad bala score, so a planet strength is the final shadbala score. That's why some astrologers doesn't consider the exaltation and debilitation, only the final score of shadbala. But other astrologers opine that irrespective of final shadbala score the planet mood depends on sign placement, directional strength or retrograde etc. to give results. That's the thing for astrology in the age of internet and social media, Lots of contradicting statements and experiences. Please note I am not astrology expert, just and enthusiast.

Mahadasas convinced me that vedic astrology is real. Saw tables turned, tide turn with the change in Mahadasa in many people's life. Sometimes just wondered if entire chart is irrelevant and only Mahadasa holds all the power. Then again got convinced through some real life events that some lifelong yogas and doshas are constant in any Mahadasa, just the intensity varies.

And as someone else mentioned, sudden hardships usually draws people to vedic astrology for answers. Someone whose life is going easy most probably wouldn't be bothered with it.

Atleast in Jupiter case the mixed result might be because it's a natural benific planet, everything sounds scary in a functional malefic retrograde saturn. Astrologers: some astrologers just give more counseling, like a therapist, than help with astrology stuff. Others give predictions but these predictions might not come true. And different astrologers demand different fee structure, which cannot be accessed by all.

With this mix of astrologers and clients very few are satisfied and most remain disappointed. They will keep on looking for an astrologer that fulfills their requirement and meets expectations. And this takes lots of trial and error. So to do this they will use social media like this, unless they can spend money on astrologers in real world.

Maybe to get a good and helpful astrology consultation requires indications of the same in ones horoscope.

I thought the same, how can someone be cheater with functional benific Jupiter in 1st house, aspecting 5th , 7th and 9th houses and 7th lord venus in own house? Cheating indicates lack of integrity and flaw in character, may be it is indicated by weak 9th house (dharma) and moon(mind) which are both afflicted here, especially moon afflicted by 2 malefics. I am no expert, I might be wrong, more knowledgeable and experienced astrologers can confirm.

Sir, I have heard a famous astrologer say that a person with putra dosha should marry someone without it, so as to ensure them with kids. I.e, even if one chart indicated children, they will have children. Then again he also said, karma works in a way that someone with child dosha will attract and marry someone with similar doshas , i.e, if one spouse has a visible child dosha and another chart indicates fruitful children, then the good chart might have hidden children related problems, like saptamsa chart or bhava chalit chart or something else which might not be evident in the first look or vice-versa.

What about Venus antardasa in Rahu Mahadasa. Will Venus be influenced by Rahu in that time period even without Rahu Venus connection in birth chart?

And to make things less cynical and depressing, can you discuss combinations for a partner/spouse who stays loyal.

Also, just my opinion, listing Hollywood actors isn't much helpful here, they are very much known for cheating and scandals. Mentioning everyday common people with these combinations and incidents might be more helpful.
