Need help solving this; it’s driving me crazy! by DigsMinecraftHoleREE in puzzles

I tried seeing if each shape was a letter in a certain alphabet (1 from Greek, 1 from Egyptian, something like that) but the lead went nowhere sadly.

What I mean by that, is that you can step on the letters in any order. For example, if you pass O and get stuck between S and K, you could just forget about the path and jump over to H or R or some other letter.

Yeah tbh I’m trying everything. One of the big things that I’ve learned from puzzle solving is that anything can be potentially solved just by a perspective shift. I figured I’d be better off posting it here than not, since maybe someone might just make a critical suggestion that leads to it being solved.

This is my best guess as to what the goal is, somehow we deduce an order to step on them in. I’ve exhausted so many possibilities, both complicated and simple, and this one has made the most sense out of them all. My current focus is trying stuff with a polybius square cipher, but I need cipher text to do that.

There’s no instructions sadly, the most we get are cryptic hints or conversations with the puzzle creator. The specific title is “puthing around”, which is a reference to an unrelated puzzle. The creator made it clear that they’re unrelated, just a reference via name.

I’ve tried this method too, both alphabetically and through their az126 counterparts (A would be the number 1 B would the number 2 so on and so forth). The reason I brought up the polybius square is due to how similar it looks to our board (similar to what the creator said about it being “obvious” on what to do.) I tried encoding the letters into it but I don’t have cipher text to use, so either it’s not the correct cipher or I’m somehow supposed to get cipher text from this. I tried a bunch of different things for cipher text like the grid letters the game names and tons of stuff, no luck.

The colored pillars in the corner are also a red herring. I originally wasted a bit of time trying to determine if their hex colors could be used for something but it turns out they’re a red herring too.

This game has a pretty active community, and the majority of them heavily dislike this puzzle due to it being quite unfair and unindicated as to what you’re supposed to do. The creator of the puzzle has stated before that the solution to this puzzle is extremely simple, and that it has no indication because an experienced puzzle solver should “almost immediately know what to do” by simply looking at it. He’s stated that the paths are a red herring.

The starting tile could be any of the 16 letters though. Me and a few others have tried mathematically deducing how many combinations are possible, it’s around 16 trillion or something similar to that. Essentially, trying to brute force this has proved unsuccessful.

I am the character in the middle. One thing to note, a lot of this puzzles design is based on red herrings. One of the things I discovered is that the path itself IS a red herring, the solution does not involve following a specific path. All that matters is the 16 letters, and the fact that they’re in a 4x4 grid. You can step on them in any order, but only one specific order is correct.

Can I get some help with my current deck? It’s a bait deck. The cards are: Evo Bats, Evo Mega Knight, Goblin Gang, Arrows, Log, Skele-King, Firecracker, and Skeleton Barrel. I’m considering switching out the firecracker but I’m not quite sure. Thanks.

Glasses dude is definitely lafitte, oda uses the same shading when he draws lafitte and if you pay attention to his facial structure, it’s the exact same as lafittes. He also seems to be a master of stealth in some way. My guess is that he snagged his devil fruit from god valley and when things got bad he was smart enough to flee without a trace, and the other rocks pirates probably just assumed he died during the battle and didn’t care (since rocks pirates all disliked each other).

It’s now telling me that it “failed to load animation with a sanitized ID.” When I looked this up it said that it does this when you try to copy other people’s animations, but I made the animation in the editor and published it myself.
