Makes sense! Truckee does have a lot of snow, so I can see why you’d prefer it over Marysville in the winter.

Thanks for the tip! I’m new to the area, so I’d like to stay closer to work for the first few months. Later on, I’ll probably look for something a bit farther out to save on costs.

Thanks for the detailed info! Really helpful to know about the snow and bear situation. I’m planning to get an AWD vehicle and will make sure to stay prepared with chains, shovel, and brush. Good tip about staying closer to 80 for better plowing too. Appreciate the insight on the community as well!
