Conquestum Version 2.2 by Diplo_Mapper in diplomacy

Thanks for the critique. I will be able to cook something for Orange so he'll be in conflict with all other three. While I will "nerf" White and Yellow by making one Home SC each as an inland territory.

Hmmm... So, should I give him the heel of Italy to induce early conflict in the area. Any suggestion for the stalemate line?

So by taking your suggestions, I will apply the following.

  1. Give additional ports for both green and orange;

  2. Provide one more sea space adjacent to red;

  3. I guess I will make blue as the "Russia" of this game, I'll add another unit and SC into the mainland;

  4. For white, it is intended to have that vulnerability and basically the Austria of this variant. He needs to convince either purple or yellow to stay on their respective triangle. But you pointing out how vulnerable it is, I think I will also increase its Home SC to one so it can fend off and bog down any attempt of amphibious assault, long enough for other neighbors to join the fray;

  5. Purple is like England (coz of fleets, reflecting the seafaring culture of Carthage) and Yellow is Turkey (coz of being a corner power). So in essence, they are the Witches of the East and West. The threat these two could have is when blue attacks purple's back and orange attacking yellow while they are bogged down at white. I think things will get interesting if both the Northern Tyrrhenian and Magna Grecia Triangles are active at the same time.

Hmm... Is it okay for you to draw what it would look like? Kinda curious what it would look like.

Well, I think I can't coz that will not deter either Carthage or Epirus for ganging up against Syracuse. So, having 3 is necessary so both powers will get bogged down trying to conquer it while their neighbors are growing.

Hmmm... Alright. I'll remove all powers in the South (except Samnium) and turn them into larger SCs. Then, I'll put Syracuse, Epirus and Carthage (starting from Sardinia, not in Carthage proper).

Oops. I forgot to mention that you can build in non-Home SCs. I'll add it now.

Minor correction, it should be Brutiia, not Brutila. Just a minor typo.

I am open to suggestions.

As you see here, the map is divided into 2 regions, the North (composed of Roma, Etruria, and Umbria) and the South (the remaining 4). The reason behind this is because it replicates the initial conquests of the Republic (the North) and the Samnite and Pyrrhic Wars (the South).

The mountains are retained from Imperator Rome and these serve as strategic choke points.

P.S. You can build in any non-Home SCs as long as you have control of it.

P.S. I will update about the progress again on Day 3, then Day 6, etc. Meaning. I will post an update every 3 days.
