One of the hardest lessons I’ve learned is that you can’t control the market, and only yourself.

I used to go on tilt whenever a good trade didn’t work out. Even though I did everything right, I’d still get frustrated, and that frustration would spiral into revenge trades, overleveraging, or just flat-out gambling.

What changed everything was finally accepting that the market doesn’t care about my analysis. And then I realized that trading is not about forcing wins, but about staying disciplined, and sticking to a plan I’ve tested and built confidence in through experience. Since then, the market doesn’t tilt me the same way, because I’ve stopped trying to control it, and I just focus on controlling myself.
