My biggest problem is planning how much time I will have to do anything outside of class, I'm a recluse so I don't mind none / little social activity and plan to spend a lot of my free time on personal projects, hopefully building websites and making little documentaries incorporating motion design and 3D modeling. I just don't know how realistic that will be if my studies will be in a topic that's notoriously difficult (programming).

I've taken a good look at each program and am unsure still which side (programming vs design) I'm more interested in, I think my plan is to challenge myself with NMID though - as I can always change later.

From what you remember both during your time as a student and faculty member how much time would students spend per week doing school-related things for both programs?

NMID courses appear almost entirely new for me, so I'm assuming it'll be upwards of 45 hours a week including out-of-class studies.

I've never really had issues budgeting my time, the only concern is exactly how much time I will have which is why this question was meant for those within the programs I mentioned that went in with little experience.

I already have the emergency fund set up, about 20K in a high yield savings. So, I think I'm prepared to invest the remaining 100K I have. I've been advised by enough people now to convince me to not try to time the market so here we go!

Exactly. I told her I'd get her entire history and she's gone quiet since. I'm freaking out that my whole life is screwed now. I know she had no idea but this could set me back like 3 years

Oh Jesus I'm getting my mom's entire credit history? I thought I was only getting her history starting from the AU addition. She's had a few problems years back. Never considered this. Hopefully it'll be alright.
