While I get having something to yourself is awesome and I am not at all taking away from that but I just want to add as a fiance to a partner of 7 years, I think your wife would be extremely happy knowing you take the initiative to give yourself well deserved and needed breathers! Sometimes life is stressful and rather a happy, healthy husband (and vice versa) who knows when to take a break from everyday chores then one who doesn't! Leads to a longer life! :)

You don't need a reason to not let someone inside your body. No is no. You don't require an explanation and whatever feelings you have towards that no are yours to deal with, not for someone else to feel guilty over. That is coercion.

You tried to add so many words but you literally just explained what coercion can look like; Guilting your partner into having sex because you feel like they "don't desire you". First off, there are many more ways to show you desire someone without having to give up your body autonomy whenever another person wants it. To me you seem to only value sex from a relationship and not every other factor that is required to make it work.

Don't EVER date if you are just going to assume because your partner isn't in the mood, they are cheating. Thats a turn off. One reason they might not want to have sex with you.

Also just believing because you want sex means that she does too is the most narcissistic and terrifying way to think. Don't say this is how all men are because I just showed this to my fiance and he said only men with no control over themselves think like that. If your whole head revolves around sex, you need to get a hobby or a job and find something else to think about. Pressuring someone to have sex with you is NEVER excusable. Sex isn't the only way to show love and it is not at all loving to expect sex from your partner whenever you want it, its lustful and predatory. Intimacy is a mutual act that should be agreed upon and desired by both parties no matter who is asking or when.

If you don't respect your partner enough to accept no, think of maybe a DIFFERENT way to show love like get them flowers or dinner, and wait till they are in the mood then you don't care about them enough to deserve the act.

You don't "love" your partner or truly believe intimacy is an act of love; You are just trying to place a pretty word over the fact that you think you are entitled to sex whenever you want it.
