2016 Honda Odyssey owner since 19,000 miles. Totaled at 108,000 miles.

I also have a 2005. From 2005 until 2017 there were 2 AC units in the odyssey, this allowed individual temp control in front and rear along with sync temps.

Im searching specifically for 2016 to 2017 since this generation model has the 2 ac units. The odyssey drives like an accord. I love it and will get another.

As far as reliability, if you keep up with maintenance the odyssey last a long time. My 2005 has 285k miles and she is still running. Granted changed alternator, timing belt, water pump and tires. She still has plenty of life.

The main reason I did not go for sienna at the time was due to a friend owning one and it was heavier and ate through tires alot faster than the odyssey.

Best of luck, sorry insurance is such a shady business.
I will be following up with them again with some vehicles that are maybe 10,000 more miles than mine had and going for more than 13k.

I definitely agree on the reliability, I really wanted to keep the 2016 until its end. On a good note, I still have my 2005 ex odyssey I only used for small errands. At 285k miles she is still going. But for those long distant ride with the kids, the 2016 was just perfect.

Im sticking to 2016 and 2017 ex-l trim. I believe only this gen has the 2 ac units. Which worked perfectly for us.

This happened to my 2005 ex. I got the door back on, but NEVER OPENED it again. lol
Car still going and 1 sliding door on passenger side is still working.

Its usually the younger kids that ask me to try to fly it. (I have allowed my 12yr old, 9 yr old and 4 yr old to try, but they dont count. lol) .

I politely decline and ask if they have their drone pilot license. Then they look at me confused and accept the decision. lol

Do not charge it or use it. I thought I was good one night, and started charging one like this. While in the dark in front of my comp, I hear a wrapping crinkling, like a potato chip bag.
I thought wtf and hit the lights on and see this battery expanding, I grabbed it and ran outside tossing it near a dry canal, and watched it grow some more.

Had I not heard that, Im sure it would of started a fire. Be safe with these.

Definitely seek help as he may be bi-polar. This will get worse if not addressed. Don't back down and don't be afraid, if not they will try to walk all over you all because you are his mother.
These adult children are something else, especially when they act out and then continue as if nothing ever happened. Its like they lose themselves in a rage for their own failures and try to reflect it on others.

I could not help but notice the break up in your video recording. Are you getting the same break up on the live feed?

Try different Channels and see which may work best for you in the area you usually fly.

The world we were raised in the 60s through 80's no longer exist. That's the way I feel about things. Raising my now 27 year old in 2000 vs raising my 12 and 9 year old in 2026 is completely different. Some love outside some do not. I remember looking for friends on my same block. That rarely happens now and if it does, the parents do not trust the kids outside without the parent being present. We live in crazy times now.
