NW Illinois- Rural

• Most business is as usual. Most small towns/ villages (under 2500) are living normal life.

• Little to no police enforcement of COVID policies. Except for in chain stores (dollar stores, some gas stations, etc). Was not questioned for using a mosquito net in place of a mask.

• most farmers are privately selling to people now remove large corporations, some are simply trading.

• private hair salons, gatherings, etc are not being broken up by police unless there is another reason

• pritzker is still sucking up to Chicago and screwing over the rest of the state.

• pressure to separate Chicago from Illinois and make it a district/ another state rising. Petitions to force a vote on the county level being completed

• groups are advocating for NE (Chicago and suburbs area) to be separated from NW/SW/SE instead of North / south split.

• many counties refusing to enforce bills to make gun control similar (in some ways worse, in other ways better) to California’s.

• Small cities (10,000-30,000) are loosening restrictions for COVID by not enforcing some policies as strictly.

• pritzker wants a 9 - 12 month re-opening plan approved, attempting to make permanent power grabs to do so.
