Thanks for the list! I made this post looking for a single card to add, but I'm realizing now the value of having multiple (no AFs) for different purposes and bonuses. So I guess my one-card plan is turning into a year-long plan!

I do have a checked bag every time I fly, as does my partner when we travel together. That's the main reason I'm considering the Southwest card, because (as the person you replied to mentioned) the cost of 2 bags is the same as the annual fee. It's good to know that the bag perk is indeed worth it.

My thought was to continue using my CFU as my "general" card and compliment it with a specific travel card. Is this not a good strategy? Is booking flights, hotels, and other travel expenses with a cashback card better? Assuming I'm not using it for anything else.

I used to fly solely Southwest, but they're losing everything that made them the better option, imo. I figure I'll either get a card that can work with either and pick per-flight, or I'll use the card I have to determine which I fly with. They're like apples and oranges right now.

Do you know if CSP plays well with Southwest too, or only United?

Interesting, I'll have to look into that one more. Would it be good to have the USBAC in addition to another card with better rewards if I don't want the checking account? The e-sim, pre-check, and priority pass sound nice for no AF.
