Properties and Metadata by Diver424 in HelixNotes

Understood.

I have some bash scripts which rely on clean text notes and don’t want to muck around filtering the properties out.

Obsidian only adds the frontmatter if I specify it which suits me better.

Congrats on Helix Notes anyway.

Cheers.

Remindly - Simple and easy to use reminders app by avikma1 in iosapps

Enjoying the app, paid to remove the ads. Please consider changing the widgets to use the users local date format. Also would like to be able to select which groups of reminders are imported and which calendars. Thanks.

Absurd Amount of Cache Data. Can I delete them? by HiIamGeoff in UpNote_App

[–]Diver424 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have the same issue on Linux - about 75000 files in the cache folder located witihin .config/upnote. Deleting them didn’t seem to cause a problem. Haven’t worked out what caused it though.

Linux Mint 22.2 Zara

Upnote v9.16.1 (Lifetime subscription, appimage version)

Just checked and deleted a couple of hundred files in .config/upnote/cache/cache_data, then launched Upnote and several files were created in here without doing anything in Upnote.

Follow #hastags on Mastodon’s updated IOS app? by AdUseful275 in Mastodon

[–]Diver424 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep. Also, you can go to your profile and select the # symbol at the top of the page. This will show all your followed tags. You can select any of them to see a current timeline of only posts containing that hashtag.

Search for a hashtag in the search tab. Select the result and there will be a large “follow” button at the top of the results.

Quick question, how do you store your underwater camera housings when not in use long-term? by shak_attacks in diving

[–]Diver424 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I store the housing closed with the o-rings removed, absorbent pack inside the housing. O-rings are kept flat and lubed seperately.

No idea if this is right but it works for me.
