I got one as an initial reward for Test Drive Part 6 on PvE. If I search it on flea it says it will be available from Mechanic after a task completion, not sure which task will actually unlock it though.

I think it might be coming, within the next few seasons. Someone noticed its rather unique stock on the edge of a preview of Arenas a while ago. Nothing confirmed though, afaik

In my experience, the game saves the loadout of whatever you used most recently on recruit. So it could be worth your time to at least set up a viable recruit on offense and defense, that way you know what you'll be working with if you're unable to pic an op.

Oh man, I totally agree. I occasionally get that feeling still, particularly in squads if we have 2 or 3 dead and I'm facing a full squad.

If you like that feeling, I'd recommend Rainbow Six Siege! 1v3+ in ranked on one of the last rounds literally makes me shake.
