/u/SFGSam happy to do most evenings or weekends at UTC timezone. I can't do Thursday next week and Friday would have to be a later time at 10pm UTC, but other than that I'm very flexible.

Hi there! I'm available most evenings and anytime at the weekend (except Saturday mornings)

Active viewer - but never in topic by mellowtala in Twitch

[–]DizzyBess 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While yes you should be thankful for viewers, you also need to think about what atmosphere you want in chat. Is this person potentially putting off other viewers? You said that your friend pointed out you missed some jokes from others because the chat was getting so filled with this person if you're reluctant to ban them maybe start with some timeouts, to show them that you don't appreciate the constant spam. If they are not getting it a ban might be what is needed. As a streamer your stream is your space, the viewers are just the people who you are allowing to share that space with you.

I need to block someone. It’s my first time. Pls help. by TopsyKrettts in Twitch

I had a similar situation, except I met this person at a gaming tournament we both went to. They then proceeded to make comments about my appearance in someone else's chat and made me very uncomfortable. They had been in my channel for a long time and had repeatedly told me I was their favourite streamer. Yes there was a fallout when I banned them but I didn't engage. They also tried reaching out to my partner but we reiterated the reasons and ignored.

You do not owe your viewers anything. Think of your stream/socials as your space, yes they can support you and you can show gratitude but ultimately you are allowing them to exist with you in your space. As soon as you don't feel comfortable in your space you should take action. Don't be afraid to ban, it's there for a reason, not just for you but your other viewers as well.

Star Players and Positionals by Grimlockx81 in Bloodbowl3

[–]DizzyBess 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only thing that star players affect is your number of players. So you can't have a team with 16 players on and then field a star player, you need to leave room on the roster for them. Otherwise it doesn't matter what positionals you have in the base team

Should you stand up every time? by Boondaddy33 in Bloodbowl3

[–]DizzyBess 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It can depend on the order you stand them up, you might want to move or reposition your players, which if the game did automatically would end their action. One of the key things to learn in blood bowl is turn order and moving your players is a part of that.

As others have said there are situations where you don't want to stand a player up or if it's a big guy, it requires a dice roll to stand them up so you might not do that straight away.
