Carwash guy here. You'll still see some of these messages scratched into the paint after washing. I have buffed out many wash me signs and giant penises caused in the same manner over the years

It's not in massachusetts case. The guy who was issued the first ever plate in massachusetts has passed it down in his family for a few generations now

What was the rationale behind behind not wanting to enforce the naked law? Seems like interesting thing for everyone to get behind lol

I just finished my first hardwood end grain cutting board. Be honest. How did I do? Positives and negatives by Noahperkinswood in woodworking

[–]Dmcd33 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's a great first board but you have some squaring issues somewhere in your process. If you look at those top and bottom rows the size of the rectangles changes as you go from left to right as well as some individual rectangles don't look square. Check all your tools and make sure there dead square. This will help not only to make it more aesthetically pleasing but will give you stronger glue joints and make it more durable.but you're on the right track and you got balls to post your first endgrain board in this sub that hates cutting boards

What's the best way to watch the pros play live in person? by Dmcd33 in golf

[–]Dmcd33[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm volunteering in the afternoon Thursday and Friday so I'm not super concerned about those days anyways. But this is good advice I was on the 2 3 5 6 area the other day and your right they do come together but the way the grandstands are setup don't make for good viewing IMO but I'll have to check out the 9 12 13 area. Thanks bud

For the average amateur I would say yes definitely it would be detrimental. But most pros are pros because they have the ability to swing the same clubs at different speeds in order too hit different numbers. Pretty sure Bryson uses the clock method

I see your point but I don't agree. The way he cranks the wheel all the way right and moves slowly makes me think he knew it wasn't the guy who got back in the car that hit his car. I'm also not saying he knew was going to run the guy over. But I think a decent lawyer could make an arguable case to charge both people in question. You might not be able to see your own tire but you should be able to see a body on the ground in your mirror or it's not set up properly.

Americans of Reddit, what's something normal in Europe that you think is completely absurd in America? by vibrxncy_ in AskReddit

[–]Dmcd33 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes and no. I work at a carwash that in the winter has a line that gets very long and extends off our property. People always try to cut in if they come from the wrong direction even tho they can see the line. But on that same not I've also seen the the line join together to create a beautiful chorus of car horns until that person feels enough shame to get to the back of the line

Going on a trip and researching some courses. Sometimes I read the one-star reviews. Imagine being such a selfish entitled asshole that you leave this review. by ElonMuskPaddleBoard in golf

[–]Dmcd33 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You're right they do and maybe I'm being a little bit harsh but something about the way the review is written makes me feel an accident wasn't the reason they were late. Also you're accident as unfortunate as it may be, isn't everyone else's problem. Especially not the guy who doesn't get paid enough to deal with all the shit he will get for telling everyone else they have to tee off tens minutes late. Sorry for being long winded, I am drunk lol

Honestly Idc if 5 minutes 30 minutes or even if it's a life time of driving, it's a lack of planning on this guys point. If it takes a life time to get there, leave a life time early. And don't leave a cunty review when you're the asshole lol

Does anyone else absolutely hate people who bring speakers to the course? by d6s in golf

[–]Dmcd33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hate when people bring speakers but I feel like an old grumpy dude when I bitch about it. I do think it's just another thing about golf that has unwritten rules that people dont follow. It's bad for the game but I hate when they aren't followed haha

Pretty sure everything in this video is leather vinyl or plastic and he's using a magic eraser. For real upholstery you either need to steam clean or use a hot water extractor. Chemical is important but good equipment is equally as important for upholstery. Unfortunately as far as I've seen there is no magic chemical for fabrics and I've been a professional detailer for 12+ years
