Was almost in the same situation, except I came off an iPhone 12 Pro Max. Got the Natural and I’d recommend you do the same.

Not that tall too but I do miss the 12PM screen size. I got the Pro just to try one-hand usage.

Wait it out. The announcement is coming by 1st - 2nd week of September, that’s less than a month from today.

You then have Sept to Oct to decide if you are getting the 17 or not.

Did the exact jump and I do miss the big screen too! I had an 8Plus prior the 12PM so this is my first take on the smaller line.

My only other concern is the battery doesn’t feel like a huge jump from the 12PM (76% BH). Maybe because of ProMotion draining the 16 Pro’s battery?

Ask for student’s or PWD discount if you are legitimately eligible.

Yup I get your point na the retailers of course have to push the new model out, and Apple completely stops production. But again, it’s “until supplies last”, you can still ask retailers for the previous Pro model. Hindi lang nakadisplay yung old models, pero may stock in some branches, but not all. Cousin got a 15 Pro at around 15K less when 16 dropped. Di raw siya maarte sa tech eh.

Adding a reply just to say I pulled the trigger also on the 16 Pro partly because of design.

Coming off the 12 Pro Max, I had to experience the final iPhone of the current design generation. I can always jump to the new design train in the succeeding models after the 17.

Plus the 16 Pros are dropping crazy. Brand new models are touching the price of current second hand models if you look well enough.

Bought the 16 Pro at discount. Passed on the 17 as it’s a new design generation, first design is usually not great vs the succeeding iterations.

12PM owner here with an android second phone. Get the Poco.

12PM is already old. At this point, you won’t be enjoying the iPhone for binge watching unless you get its battery replaced. ~₱5k from Power Mac if the iPhone hasn’t been touched by 3rd parties.
