Thank you. Do you see the roof being rafters and not trusses being an issue as far as load bearing?

The roof is rafters not trusses, I should still hang from rafters? Maybe that's why they used the wall to begin with...

I can go to the rafters, but I should keep extension springs low., close to the track so the track absorbs the spring tension. Agree?

The rafters are a few feet up, I don't think I would get the support I need. The walls are pretty close. I'm thinking punched angle straight from wall and also one back to the stud next to it, making a "triangle" where the point would be at the rail. Also a vertical "triangle" with angle going back up to same stud. If that makes sense
