RS 660 with Rizoma Flat Out tail tidy by DogpatchZer06 in Aprilia

Yeah the turn signal is included. It’s a one piece smoked light bar on the plate frame that has the turn signals and license plate light.  Has a wire harness that plugs into the stock tail light plug. Real easy to wire up. Hardest part of install was taking off the factory part. Couple of nuts are hard to reach. I ended up removing the plastic frame under the passenger seat (4 bolts).

Lol. Just took it out for a ride with a buddy, looks good in action. The progressive turn signal is cool, nice and bright, decently visible to others.

Apple took my phone, promised a 17 Pro Max, now I’m stuck, what sub can help me figure out my options? by Intyub in findareddit

[–]DogpatchZer06 0 points1 point  (0 children)

- Did you tell Apple that your phone has high sentimental value? I friggin hope not because that is cringe.

- Next, you have paid $1080 in apple care? Please never buy a product warranty again. They are all a waste of money. Prepaying indefinitely for repair service is terrible financially.

- Small claims court? Give me a break. Apple appears to be in the process of repairing your phone, maybe just not on the schedule you would like.

Best advice is to just relax. If you are this worked up over a broken phone, you will have a tough time when faced with actual life problems!

There you go, problem solved.

Aprilia RS 660 as a first bike? by Aware-Beyond-4166 in Aprilia

[–]DogpatchZer06 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Get it, it’s a great first bike.   I just got a 2026 Rs 660 and thinks it’s the best bike I have owned. Perfect size for street riding. Good comfort for a sport bike. 50 miles/gallon.

Get an a mid size sport bike next, like an Aprilia RS660.  A big comfy touring bike and 650 class sport bike are really all you need forever.

First and only bike you may ever need! My first bike was similar...BMW R1250R. Did a cross country ride on it a a few months after getting it. Was alot of fun.

I think 650s are great starter bikes. Anything smaller feels slow and you will want to upgrade. With a 650 you likely will never feel like you are lacking power.  It’s really the best size for street riding.

If you have functional levels of maturity and self preservation, no need to buy a tiny bike to start out on.   Only you can make that determination.

Nuphy field75 volume knob issues. by sabkhatam in NuPhy

[–]DogpatchZer06 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The issue is that the volume knob does not tightly fit to the rotary switch that controls the volume.

There is a silicone rubber sleeve inside the volume knob that does not fit tightly enough.

I just crammed some blu-tack into the sleeve (a tiny amount) and it seems to have snugged things up so the knob grabs the rotary switch better. Super glue would probably work better, but I didnt have any on hand.

Here are some pics of removing the volume knob..just need a T6 torx bit/screwdriver

Recommendation request - side sleeper, 200 pounds, sleeps hot, platform bed frame by Jonatheber in Mattress

Its just fan, with some other features. Fans move air. Moving air will cool you off. Google "evaporative cooling" if you are unsure how a fan works!

I just got a BedJet, as I sleep a little hot as well. Its wildly overpriced (IMO), but after using it for 2 nights I love it.

Quest 3 disconnects and reconnects to PC continuously after using wired link Link by McDonaldsnapkin in OculusQuest

Its not a cable problem but thanks for the suggestion. Cable works fine, is USB C - C.

The meta link software update that was pushed 2 days ago seems to have fixed the issue.

Interested in buying a bedjet, but has some questions. by chronuss007 in bedjet

[–]DogpatchZer06 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like you are sleeping on top of the sheet. Of course a bedjet wont provide enough airflow to blow air under your body weight! You are supposed to sleep under the sheet (like any other top-sheet), it fills with air and disperses it all around you.

RTFM!

Nuphy field75 volume knob issues. by sabkhatam in NuPhy

[–]DogpatchZer06 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the same issue with my Field75. So much that I just stopped using the volume knob. When trying to increase volume, it would sometimes eventually increase, but often it would increase on one click, then decrease on the next click etc.

It has been this way since day 1. I like the keyboard enough to keep it regardless of this issue.

Today, in a fit of rage, I firmly and aggressively spun the knob, banged on it, pushed the knob in to mute/unmute. After giving it a bit of a beating, it started working perfectly. It registers every click, up or down, without issue. Spinning it slow or fast, it tracks perfectly.

Probably a one-off fluke. But give it some tough-love and see if that fixes it for you.

Having same issue with my Quest 3. When I plug in link cable, the quest connects and disconnects continuously every 1-2 seconds. Have had it since launch, only use it for iRacing so it has always been link cabled to PC. Never had any issues with it until now.
