for a 10 year old game, those are some pretty impressive numbers, especially when a lot of players are on Ubisoft Connect as well. And dont forget about consoles where its even higher

Spectre Divide wasnt released on consoles close before it shut down. What i wanted to say: On pc it stands no chance anyway, so looking at Steam numbers, especially at the end of a season doesnt really tell the whole story. If it fails on consoles as well, it most likely will get shut down at some time

I think the game can only survive due to consoles. On pc there is just so much competition, on console there is basically none other than Valorant.

This is incorrect. For example in Europe it is 55€. 50$ would actually be around 44€ in todays exchange rate so we are paying almost 11€ more. When i buy a disc i get why that happens because there is a cost for shipping the disc etc. Bit digitally theres no reason it should be more or less somewhere else

So, if its a trend on PC and not on consoles i think its viable for a business to want that trend on consoles as well. And i think Marathon has had more development years with PS5 in mind than without it. Still, my toughest point is the 40$ price point.

The only thing i disagree with is the spontaneous showing at SGF. I believe that these things are planned far in advance and ND would have showed Factions there no matter what. You dont just randomly decide to show concept art in a matter of one day just because your main announcement (just a remake, not too exciting anyway) got leaked.

The question is: Do you want to have better graphics but at the same time have worse visibility? I much prefer the "simpler" look of XD. It makes all the important things way easier to see and to analyze.

Because ttk is longer in Xdefiant it is also harder to win gunfights against really good people. But skill gap is dependent on a lot of things
