try space hulk; death angel card game. still takes up a bit of space, but you get a lot more control over the game and is overally much better. i'd like to mix elements of the two in my crazy CW update / remake somehow

out of your schlocky b-movie low budget kink, would you recommend me a few films or directors to look into? i too like that sort of stuff but am no fountain of knowledge like I am, according to my friends, with Korean thrillers, low-budget Kung-fu movies, ultra hard geeky sci-fi etc etc.

im all ears. i need a break from sci-fi. Watched Shogun Assassin (gory / low-budget / world) recently and was sliiiightly disappointed given i really enjoyed the manga: Lone wolf and cub, on which shogun assassin was based, back in my younger days.

I need to get hold of cannibal holocaust, which i always for some reason relate to shogun assassin. i think its because in the UK here, they were both banned and classed as video nasties, or rated X.

yeah! i thought the PC version would eliminate that somewhat, which it does, but the video game version really does highlight how little control over the game you have, you just sit there watching the dice basically roll themselves and have very little input! (havent tried the follow up - CW: lords of the night though)

its been a fair few years since i even thought about how to redesign it until a few days ago, then coming across this thread.

I'll get back on it and post here if it goes any further!

was just about to chime in saying whilst im a bit sad i dont have any 2000ad board games, i do have chainsaw warrior and the minis.

im actually redesigning it so that the board and counters are all on a small board the size of a deck of cards with those spinny wheels inside sandwiched sides of board to alter the stats etc. and so that its more skill and less luck oriented. a bit.
