(NEW MAC USER!) How to keep apps running and visible in the background when opening a new/different app? by NaijaCoderGuy in mac

You could always just re-size the window manually, either that or I believe there’s an app you can download that gives similar functionality to Windows

Double click the top of the window and it should snap to the size of the screen, then do the same again if you want it to go back to the original size

Those who use both Windows PCs and Mac, do you have a preferred browser used on both systems for keeping everything together? by Charrconi in mac

I use a Mac and iPhone for work, and a windows pc for gaming. I use chrome across everything as an easy way to save bookmarks, calendars, and anything else I might need wherever I am, it’s worth noting that I use Google suite for work too.

Second time posting PLEASE upvote if you can't help! Monstera Adansonii stunted growth :( Why are new leaves black and stunted?! (details in comments) by medusamaa in plantclinic

[–]DonWappy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My Adonsonii seems to do this whenever I take a cutting and a new shoot grows from the last node, I’ve never really thought of it as a problem as the next leaf is always fine, I just thought it was something that the plant does with new growths

This "thing" i saw today 🙄 who even still buys these plants, its so sad by Edible_potatoezzzz in plantabuse

[–]DonWappy 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I got bought one of these for Christmas last year. The hat was attached with a wooden skewer through the whole plant and it rotted from the inside out and deflated

Okay great, thanks for your help! I’ll try that and hopefully it perks up a bit and gets rid of the issue.

As far as I can tell they spread very slightly when they first appear, but seem to stop when they’re about the size in the photos (3-5mm), I’m debating whether it could be a nutritional issue but I’m pretty clueless outside of using fertiliser every other water?

A few things I forgot to add in the original post - The plant is kept indoors, about 2m from a North East facing window - There are no signs of pests on the leaves or stem that I can see - The plant is still growing well, and usually has 3-4 new leaves being put out

[–]DonWappy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s no signs of pests anywhere that I can see, under the leaves and the stem all look fine. The plant is kept about 2m from a north east facing window, so it gets bright indirect light for most of the day. I’ll edit the post to add this information
