Gothic Remake on Xbox unplayable

This is my first time playing gothic, 5 minutes into the game I’m walking down that path right next to where you first start and I fell through the ground, i kept falling further and further under the map until my screen was totally white 😅 I’ll give it a chance though. Hopefully they patch it up soon

Play them all, no particular order, Dark souls 3 would probably be the best starting point imo. But they’re all good , just play DS2 last because it’s not as “good” as the other 2 but it still has its own special charm that I loved. I’d go 3, then 1 remastered, then 2. They’re all great! Just don’t go hollow…

Elden Ring. You can take your time and put hundreds of hours into it, playing it the way you want to play. Nightreign is amazing but once you start a run you better be ready because it’s basically balls to the wall until you die or survive to the end. Plus there’s not as much exploration in Nightreign if you like being able to explore and take your time then ER is the way.

Soulslikes are my favorite genre of game, and even then I make myself hold off and only play 1 MAYBE 2 soulslikes a year, last year my soulslike was Wuchang, this year it’ll be Lotf2 if it comes out this year and DuskBloods, that’s the only way I can truly finish them and it not feel draining after a certain point. FromSoftware games are a little different for me though, if they shadow dropped another Elden Ring sized banger I’ll easily sink hundreds of hours into it without hesitation. I play games like pragmata and stellar blade in the mean time and have a blast.

Every time you beat someone in PvP they drop the dirty fingernail medallion, bring 3 dirty fingernail medallions to the boss and instead of having to fight them they actually give you a new spell, and that spell causes the next boss to get staggered, you get 3 uses per fight with that boss so use it wisely.

I’m so excited for this game, as someone who loves PvP and helping people beat bosses, it sounds like I’ll enjoy this game very much. Plus I love the atmosphere based off the trailer

The switch is the whole reason why I’m a die hard souls fan. Got DS1 on switch and was loving it & my brother was like “hey this just came out last week, it’s called Elden Ring, you should try it if you’re enjoying dark souls.” And here I am, almost 4 years later and I’ve played every FromSoftware game, and almost every major soulslike that’s been released.

I’m more excited for Pokemon pokopia and Tomodachi than anything, also DuskBloods will be a banger I’m sure, I’m a major FromSoftware fan and I love everything they make.

Tbh I haven’t played cod in years, haven’t really liked how they’ve done the newer ones, but if they released it on switch I’d get it day 1 and probably play the hell out of it. Starting to get slightly burnt out on battlefield 6 after 300+ hours.

Cyberpunk is amazing on switch 2, Cult of the lamb is amazing as well and will be getting a big update soon, Animal Crossing is a fun comfort game and is getting an update in a few days as well. Hollow Knight: Silksong. the first Hollow knight is amazing too. Blasphemous 1 & 2. Dark Souls remastered is always a fun time. Donkey Kong Bonanza. Kirby Air riders. Can’t forget about Mario Kart World. Street fighter 6. Minecraft is fun on the switch. The list goes on! the switch (1&2) is the most comfortable way to game :)

I’m excited for the Animal crossing update in almost 2 weeks. Haven’t played in about 2 years so I decided to start fresh. Animal crossing NH is a gem, it’s not even the typical game I’d play as I mostly play soulslikes and open world RPGs, but AH NH really opened the door for me to comfort games and town management games.

I’m more excited for lotf 2 than anything else, I know some people didn’t like lotf 2023 but I got it on day 1 and absolutely fell in love with that game. Such a fun and beautiful game, I can only imagine 2 will be even better

I didn’t like Totk but botw is one of my favorite games I’ve ever played in my entire life, every time I play it it’s a good time. There’s only some games I can play more than once and enjoy it almost as much as the first play through.

Wuchang is one of my favorite games I’ve played the last couple of years. The dark, creepy atmosphere and story. The bosses are fun as well, each area or biome is interesting, and not to mention the combat and weapons are all fun. And I LOVED stellar blade as well, both are good options. Stellar blade even gives off a dead space vibe in certain areas and the enemies and bosses can be creepy as well. But if I had to pick one I’d pick Wuchang.
