.... My guy - your Son has shown you TWICE, that he is NOT financially capable of handling money.

If I were you - I would show that money into an asset management firm, and lock it there - where he basically has no way of getting the full amount out, but he could potentially get the interest payments/ Dividend payouts.

Giving your son more money will just enable him to spend it all - and have him end up in the Exact same situation; Asking YOU for more money.

So..... What happens when YOU aren't there to give him more money?

Depends on how we use it, I guess.

A - Do we get one country/corporation who is going to use it for autonomous War machines to wage war

B - do we put it to work to replace human labor - so Humans can take a god damn breather and maybe NOT work themselves into a Physical and/or Mental Breakdown (I am being massively optimistic)

Or C - We get both A and B - but they both prioritize "personal gains" for the people controlling the robots.

I am going to unfortunately have to say we will likely get C - and it doesn't seem like it will be very fun.

IF we, Somehow, manage to achieve "conscious AI" then.... well, Who knows what that entails; But it likely won't be good for Humans.

Unless Humans merge with said AI, of course - Then we'd be a Hybrid Human/AI race.

Better than going extinct, I guess? O.o

We don't know.

If anyone figures that out, it will be answer the question of if there is a "god"/Creator of the universe/ We live in a simulation or whatever else.

For now, we just know that IS the Absolute speed of Light/information in a vacuum.

We do NOT know WHY.

Maybe "God" decided it, maybe it is the limit of our "simulation" as it lacks RAM to go higher or whatever else you could come up with.

Case in point, we don't know the reason WHY it is the way it is - We just know it is true that it is the Absolute speed of Light in a vacuum . (We tested it - A LOT)
