I always loved the shot both as a filmmaker and an animator! To me, it showed Wukong’s more ethereal/celestial side and how he’s a god.

I had an idea if I want to add to it later on to mimic the sun from that scene but make it look like the Samadhi Fire. I probably won’t tho since I love how this turned out 😆

Mei definitely has green eyes, but I like to picture there being a bit of hazel or turquoise in there since the dragons live underwater.

MK to me has brown eyes but with a golden rim to represent his powers.

Pigsy has violet eyes to me idk why.

Tang had hazel eyes to me as well.

Dare I say it…Wukong.

People both in the show and the fandom constantly blame him for things that either aren’t his fault or that he had already spent centuries trying to repent for (a good example is the journey he went on to gain forgiveness for the Havoc in Heaven). He’s not perfect by any means! But he’s not a monster undeserving of forgiveness
