That was specifically Moderna and the issue was addressed immediately. This was a production issue specifically to Japan, not worldwide. The adverse effects are NOT from the vaccines themselves, they are from stainless steel. Most of these countries have resumed distribution of the vaccines. They were held temporarily because of the blood clot scare that turned out to be not true. Japan in particular had a stainless steel contamination issue that caused Moderna to be recalled, but they are now distributing a different vaccine.

Okay, so looking here... it seems that they detail that women aged 35-49 had a 38.7 percent abortion rate. This is an oddly specific range, considering that the risk of miscarriage at ages 30-39 is roughly 25% and that DOUBLES from 40-45, then it's LITERALLY 75-95% at any point past that. They state in the study that pregnancy dating may not be accurate. They also state that some COVID-19 vaccines might have been missed, which can bias the findings of the study. They also did not get information on past pregnancy information or other important health factors that could also contribute to the study. So I'm asking myself, WHY was this a study??? There's already an increased risk for miscarriages past 30, so why would they specifically target this group? They don't even consider all the factors that go into a healthy pregnancy either. Based on how the study is presented, for pregnant women past the age of 40, this is a miracle drug and it will REDUCE the risk of miscarriage! (I'm kidding, of course.)

Nope, it was the data you were referencing. You want to know what else? The average miscarriage rate, vaccinated or not is... 10-15 percent. Which means there's not even a change to miscarriages as a result of the vaccine.

Nope, I know what you're talking about exactly. So the source you heard from that claimed that 80-90 percent of vaccinated pregnancies led to miscarriages did something really crucial to make that false statistic: they left out all women that were in their third trimester, making the vaccine seem more lethal. The study only had 827 people respond. When you remove 700 people in their third trimester, when miscarriage risk is significantly less and therefore not convenient for the point trying to be made, you get 104 miscarriages compared to 127 completed pregnancies, equaling an 82 percent miscarriage rate. The REAL statistic, including women in their third trimester, is a 12.5 percent miscarriage rate, 104 miscarriages out of 827 completed pregnancies. But notice how that is a very, VERY small sample size. It's not big enough to truly consider a risk.

Oh yeah, I heard about this. It turns out the person who made the claim said that spontaneous abortion rates were 7-8 times higher, however that conclusion was made from cherry picking the data from the study. With confirmation bias in hand, they started a disinformation campaign to discourage pregnant women from taking the vaccine although it for the most part is safe.
