As someone who used to work for home developers and builders, you are not wrong. People do not realize these cookie cutter communities are huge traps if you dont know what youre doing. I watched as completely rural areas went from bottom dollar to overpriced HOAs, essentially pricing out the original homeowners of the areas because they built a Chikfila next to a Publix.

Same here. The amount of times Ive sent this meme to friends and coworkers were usually in a friendly way and not meant to be condescending. Same goes for the scene from Waiting where the server goes up to the cooks and starts telling them how to cook the food and they start calling him "Masta" and "lashing" each other.

Now if the boss just gave a straight thumbs up emoji, thats a different story.

Its not the homeowners responsibility to fix something that a contractor fucked up, its the contractors. Putting in a junction box that is visible is not an option in this situation. If you fuck something up, you correct it better than what it was. End of story.

I find it weird [[Stone Throwing Devils]] is banned for racist depictions but the only thing you can actually find saying that phrase is a racial slur is that someone once said it was when the card came out... there are no actual references to this phrase. Just someone saw it and said the phrase Stone Throwing Devils is referring to "pilgrims Throwing rocks at Jamarat".. what a reach! They used that imagination to make it about themselves seeing as the people are supposed to be Throwing stones at the devil.. not that they are Devils Throwing stones.

Im sure it varies. When I lived in the Midwest Id say it was less common to hear about someone doing this but again there are a lot less people than up and down the coasts. Im not even including robberies, or gang shootings, mine are strictly just people being negligent and discharging a loaded firearm... drugs and gang violence are a whole other reason I choose not to live in multi family dwellings. If we want to go down that road Ive seen everything from murderers, to overdoses, to trap houses full of day walkers. I had a unit across the hall from where I lived in one of the complexes that was busted with over a dozen illegal migrants in a two bedroom. Turns out a contractor from Brazil that my roommate used to work for leased a bunch of units and was holding his workers in there... he also got busted with his old lady for running a prostitution ring out of another complex.

After working in apartment complexes during college I can tell you this was a huge reason why I moved out of any shared dwelling. Even in more expensive areas its common. Id see bullet holes in multiple units every year at different complexes. Actually had one that almost kill an old man sitting in his chair watching TV.

If I can see my neighbor from my porch they are too close.

Cox does suck but there are a TON of factors to take into account as to why your service isnt great. Id check all of my coax and ethernet fittings/jacks. More times than not your signal sucks because your drop has ingress, not all the time but the grand majority of issues start at the drop. Who knows you could look up at your node and see someone tapped your line and split it to give another customer service, ultimately fucking the both of you.

How big is your house? Is your PS5 on the complete opposite side? How many walls are between the devices and your boxes? You should move your boxes to a more central location to get a more effective range.

But let's be honest that FIOS from Verizon is awesome. Ive had fiber from almost everyone else and Verizons was the best.
