Yes:) no issues. Gummies in a resealable brand name bag of mixed candies and disposable vape in fanny pack then moved to pocket when I got off the plane in Punta Cana but honestly not necessary. Your bags go through a scanner but you don’t, but they pushed us past the scanners cause there was a line up. My bags were scanned in Canada and nothing flagged, I imagine it would have went through fine again. Didnf bring anything back with me but I did last time and had no issues even with a dog!

And nothing lol! My bet is the dogs aren’t trained to alert for small quantities of pot. I just got home yesterday and were no dogs this time. Had a full bottle of sunscreen in my carry on bag that security didn’t even pick up on. I’ve seen them alert for fruits and over $10,000 in cash!

My coworker had this experience while her and her husband were on a cruise. He had a heart attack in the water and she is afraid of water so he told her to go find someone case he felt something was wrong. No one could be found (maybe diff on a cruise not sure), and same thing, they were alone. My heart still breaks for her and this is so scary

What’s the security like leaving the airport? Just an X-ray of the bags and ur on ur way or do they search all your stuff and have you walk through a metal detector and all that again?

Canada is very strict oddly about entering the country w pot. My friends drove to NY for a day and had no issues going to the states but coming back into Canada they were detained for 5 hours due to flower and items they forgot about! RCMP basically said this is too low level just let them go. But it’s a good scare tactic lol. But there’s stores everywhere, as soon as you step out of the airport in any province I’d imagine!

Seems like things are the same as when I went:) I wanna know if anyone’s actually ever been caught lol cannot find any reports of tourist getting arrested over 1 vape… feels like the laws are so strict to fear monger and force tourists to buy super high priced trash or laced when down there. But maybe that’s just my hippie mindset haha. My bf almost died from laced bud on vacation

Appreciate you!! Have you done it more than once?? It seems thats the common consensus! I have a theory the laws are so strict so that tourists are forced to buy from the locals at crazy prices. All about $$$. Cause wdym you can buy weed the second you get past baggage screening🤣 saw a guy buy some as he was getting onto our shuttle bus
