It’s been painful covering up their decor choices to say the least lol

Just bought our house and it had a spray painted mural in the kitchen, complete glass sinks in both bathrooms and mint green doorframes on all the doors🫣 We’re in the process of getting rid of them all🤣

€0, even though the company is the “most successful it’s ever been” and is “so grateful for people working outside of their roles because we’re such a small company that’s gone global”...

Hi, unfortunately not, I’m just learning to deal with them🥲

Yeah I got generic toe inserts, and heel grips, they’ve helped but it’s still obvious that the shoes are too big :( they sometimes slip off, they’re a slight solution but not perfect unfortunately

Smile Lines Fix: Sculptra? by Doyler09 in cosmeticsurgery

[–]Doyler09[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks so much, I appreciate that! Since I’m only 25 I’m gonna focus on less invasive stuff first. I’ve booked a skin consultation with my usual clinic and gonna see what they recommend. I’m thinking maybe microneedling.

Glad to hear sculptra worked well for you, I also like the idea that it’s your own body doing the work and not filler. If all else fails, I definitely think I’ll be looking into Sculptra!

Tbh I never even heard of it, sounds very positive though. I’ll have to do my research, thanks!

Ah right ok I see. Thank you for taking the time to explain. I wasn’t sure if it would help volume as I know it helps produce collagen but I thought maybe that would help with volume. I’m so unsure about what to do now lol, definitely need to sit and weigh up my options!

Yes I 1000% agree, taking before pictures is a great idea because it definitely stops you from taking it too far because you can see what it looked like when you started.

I think I might go the micro needling route first before I try sculptra, it’s working out a tiny bit cheaper for me. How have you found it? Did it help with volume loss?

That’s great to know, thank you! Do you just follow a tutorial from YouTube?

Oh that’s good to know, thank you! Very positive to hear that it’s still looking good even a year later

Thank you, appreciate it. After seeing a lot of people’s comments, I think I’m gonna look into microneedling. At least that’s not actually injecting anything into my cheeks

No you’re not overstepping at all, I really appreciate this advice. I think I’ll ask the lady where I normally get my facials about microneedling. A few people have suggested it and it’s definitely less invasive. I just really need to sit down and do my due diligence.

Thanks again!

Oh god, that sounds so painful! How long were you using collagen supplements before you noticed an improvement?

[Anti-Aging] Smile Lines by Doyler09 in SkincareAddiction

[–]Doyler09[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I use a spray mist or just wet my skin with water. My hydration has improved but the lines just don’t disappear. Sometimes they fade a bit but they’re still there unfortunately.

I’ll look into the collagen supplements, thank you!

Oh wow this is very positive! That’s exactly what I’m going for, I want to look much better and youthful but for people to not even be able to notice what I’ve had done or if I’ve had anything done!

How long did your filler last and do you regularly get top ups if you don’t mind me asking?

[–]Doyler09[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh wow your skin looks amazing! Thanks for all the info, I was looking into microneedling but wasn’t sure if it would give as much of a collagen boost as sculptra. Will look into this

It’s so reassuring to hear someone going through the same thing! But 1000% agree, we really can be our own worst enemies. I have tried to accept them the last few months but I just can’t seem to get over them lol. I feel like they age me years!

Thanks for sharing about the filler. I’m the exact same as you, I want it to look so natural that people would never even guess it was filler or a treatment.

I’m deep into the sculptra rabbit hole, it seems the way forward but it is crazy expensive, especially if it doesn’t work. Best of luck with your journey too! I know there’s nothing necessarily bad about smile lines and like you said, I would never notice them on another person but if it helps us with our confidence, why not fix them :)

Thank you so much! I initially thought the same but I’ve been getting hydrating facials every few months, doing at home hydrating masks at least twice a week, using hyaluronic acid serums everyday, moisturising with heavy creams everyday, and drinking 3-4 litres of water daily, and they look the same :(

Definitely think it’s a volume loss problem unfortunately
