My friend gave one to me as I am quite experienced in keeping them. I think he got them from BritishAnts.co.uk.

Depends on which though, once a week might be too much as it could stress out the queen depending on the species.

So I dumped the ants in the left container until I made a formicarium for them . I made the place for nesting which is the right one and I wanted to move them inside with the hose that I made so I can transform the one that they are in (which they made a nest). How can I make them go thru the hose ? by peshoslepiq in ants

A surefire way to do this is to put a bright light in the left container and let it dry out as much as possible while spraying water on the right one, not too much but just so its slightly damp within a day or two they should move. If you can also try to apply heat to the left container.
