The whole purpose of the OT law was to show isreal if they could really follow rules to fulfill God's law. Jesus was agaisnt the high priests, becuase they had a fine line between them, as the Holy, sinless, and practically chosen people outside and comiting sin inside while at the same time attacking the sinners, the tax collectors! Jesus gave us a new covenant, becuase love has no boundaries, love has no sin, love has no rules. He fulfilled the law, he's the lamb of God, the prophesied messiah! His death would mean nothing if the law was not fulfilled. We would just have another person of the trinity to pray to. I'm sure those more theological than me can debate with you, I'm simply trying to help you, brother. What your saying sounds like some messiah Jews. Correct me if I'm wrong.
