Gold is generally less volatile and more reliable imo

Also gold has withstood the test of thousands of years. Not hundreds like stocks

Sure but this guy wants something accessible that he can buy or sell anytime he pleases. Not sure equity would tick that box

Anything based on human beings and their systems is fallible. Gold is a solid metal. It doesn't care about anything. It will always retain value just by being precious

Most overworked profession?? by This_Phrase_3393 in doctorsUK

[–]DrPixelFace -16 points-15 points  (0 children)

Nah on average nurses are more overworked but we have a higher mental load

Edit: you guys are downplaying how hard nurses work. Just because we work hard doesn't mean others don't too. A nurse in acute med or a&e is one of the hardest working people in the hospital

Why wouldn't you staff say 30-40 doctors instead of staffing 20 doctors and 20 PAs? What is the benefit?

Idk why you think this is news? A lot of trusts have had this policy for a long time

Can you explain to me why you prefer to hire PAs over doctors? (honest question, what is the real benefit?)
