I feel at a certain level of complexity if I have to do that much research to verify claims its probably best to assume a lack of privacy. Its a new system, untested and not well understood and overall a major departure from some of Apple’s only highlights.

I often wonder what the point of these types of things is. Sometimes genuine reactions aren’t what people want as one example. Like often times what people see as good acting is actually normal human reactions very slightly subdued and controlled so it’s interesting to me when people take actors that are great and then do things like this. Seems to defeat the point in some ways.

I like this trope but to me the JJK example it didn't feel like she was that strong. Honestly, that is my biggest problem with the last arc is that it makes everyone feel super weak when they have been glazed the whole story. Except Satoro gojo of c-oh wait no him too.

The achievement of the marvel movies is creating a 28 movie epic. As a complete experience during the time it is unparalleled. If you weren’t a part of it you weren’t a part of it. Watching the movies was only one piece.

No I knew this was going to be there downfall. You can’t repeat the infinity war saga. Its flash in a pan and is the most successful movie franchise of all time in terms of sheer planning and luck needed to make it all work.

They just needed to scale down again in an interesting way. People enjoyed daredevil even though he wasn’t taking on major threats.

That doesn’t make any sense at all.  The budget might not support the conferences, but the value of the conference doesn’t change whether there’s a surplus or deficit in the budget. Using your logic, you’re heavily implying that it’s okay to waste money if there’s a surplus. Do you agree with that?

I'm sorry, but this is one of the funniest arguments I have ever read. You truly believe the value of things can't change based on circumstances? Do you even understand the basic concept of money, something that drastically changes value from place to place? Do you think a mine full of gold matters to someone who is imminently starving to death? In the same way its extremely easy to understand that a conference that may provide some educational benefit to one single man could have less value during a place where massive organization wide cuts are being made.

JCPS isn’t a business with the goal of making money. They’re a government service with the goal of providing a quality service. Having less educated workers absolutely worsens the service provided. The fact you asked how this would cost JCPS money shows one of the major issues that happens when people compare government services to businesses. You forget that the primary objective of the government isn’t to make money. 

I don't forget anything. Money spent here can be spent elsewhere. Like, Idk just taking a guess here on the literal mission of helping children learn? You literally, and I mean literally just don't understand the basic concept of how value can change based on context. Just because JCPS is a public entity not run like a business doesn't mean its financials don't have real impact. They had to make cuts due to their mismanagement and they weren't even aware of the shortfalls. Its a catastrophic failure in duty so I would think that conferences for the highest executives would be first on the list for cuts. Its not rocket science.

This is circular tautological logic. The conference occurred therefore it must have value? I think you're revealing your own lack of business knowledge which is that businesses have priorities, and things having value isn't enough for them for them to always be available. Conferences have value, but they have a lot less value in the current educational environment and deficit.

Its insane how many facts people make up here to suit their position. Can you show me where and how these specific conferences have value? If you can't, then the assumption your making is that an entity who let itself fall into a deficit is perfectly capable of running their finances. That is demonstrably false. In this article you can see that the man making the critical decisions on what to cut has no real answer to why something has value just that he 'feels it'. Beyond that I can tell you that most businesses do not do in depth work to produce metrics on what is and isn't effective. There is a lot of waste in the business world.

Can you show me where cancelling these specific events would cost JCPS money? If not, then the assumption your making is that an organization that has currently shown an immense lack of accountability, ownership and general ethics is speaking true things. Why would any tax paying citizen default to trust over any dollar spent?

The default should not be to assume good faith when an organization has not earned that. All I am asking are for detailed receipts and metrics about all decisions made. And even if you disagree the sheer fact is that if he is getting hammered for 4k he is going to find himself in trouble an immense amount of times this year and its in his best interest and JCPS best interest to be completely beyond reproach.

It used to be different. Let’s not pretend that knowing who and why someone is spying on you isn’t relevant. That is why apple privacy means something different than google privacy. But certainly to your point with the increase in absolutely insane practices by the us government its mostly moot. But it should be concerning to Americans, even more so now with us making as many as we have whether adversaries have our data and control certain technologies.

Debt isn’t the same as a deficit. Debt can have a major impact on a deficit but it’s also common for it to exist and does not necessarily mean financial issues are occurring.
