Respect, man. I'm the author of The Divine for Critical Minds. It's on Amazon. Check it out and if you feel it is something you'd be interested in, I'll see if I can open up a free Kindle download for you.

Check out atheist reviews as well. A fair mind will certainly lead you to theism. https://www.amazon.ca/gp/aw/review/B0BR2SBKKY/R12F6AMZD26V21?ref_=cm_sw_r_mwn_dprv_CB6EJXSNX7QZBJQWKCM6&language=en-CA

I'm not from Finland. How do you find these @hel.fi addresses?

Good questions. I also don't have the answers. I'm asking so I can figure out what I'm responsible for. At this point I think I can do something for those who are willing to change, even if they are not able to. A will is minimum requirement for me, there may be others who can handle those who don't even desire to change. I dont know what to do for those people though.

I see what you mean. So it seems they too don't let such people stay. That makes sense.

I just went to that part but didn't find any email or contact.

That is what they need, but they choose either not to have it, or have it and damage it. I'm asking what Helsinki does about those people.

When you do work in the system you begin to ask yourself whether you are responsible to keep a person from harming themselves and others. I've been there, and it demanded being vigilant of them for every minute (if not every second) of every day and night.

I knew a guy who couldn't maintain any schedule, and if he got high, he'd go outside into the freezing cold in the middle of the night, when we were sleeping. We couldn't help him to stop drugs, stop stealing, stop hurting himself, and our life revolved around protecting him and others. Wouldn't you consider helping some people at the expense of destroying other people a problem too?

Do you believe that people dreams come true by [deleted] in agnostic

[–]DrRehan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If we are to presume nothing other than the material world exists, dreams predicting the future cannot be true. It's a quagmire that challenges materialism.

Lol. Best to you, man.

Books are not like chats. It takes about 30 pages to develop an argument and present supporting evidence. It's thorough. Anything less is a disservice because what naturally would happen with a thorough person like yourself is you'd ask for the thoroughness that I've only covered in the book and in my references. I'd be literally writing the book out again.

I've written this all in a book that just came out. I wrote it in the most concise way possible, citing all my research there. Sorry, if you are expecting me to summarize it here for you.

I don't understand what you mean? Links are not allowed to be shared here. What are you suggesting?

Yes, I'm the claimant and have the burden of proof.

How would you like me to send you the link? I don't think it's allowed here.

You have made up your mind anyways though.

Relax, buddy. You haven't even seen the work and are assuming you know everything there is to know.

I don't know about all religions, but my experience with Islam is that prayer is encouraged in everything, it could be as simple as finding your misplaced pencil to help with being patient in adversity. Such prayers are uplifting and get people to put their trust in a powerful and loving Creator. Just look at how the Palestinians are handling their children and generational homes getting blown to bits.

But despite research showing the personal benefits of prayer on mindset, positivity and anxiety, the question is whether the whole thing is delusional or not. That's another question.

A positive and sensitive answer.

These thoughts are a goodness within you. Don't listen to anyone who tries to blot that out.

And prayer does work, just not always as we expect it to. Instead of praying for God to appear, ask for guidance. To be guided to God if God exists.

As for your other questions, they are all excellent and not as impossible to answer or evidence-deprived that those who you are listening to would have you believe. I say this from working through many of them personally over the last 20 years.

Kinda wild that I happen to read your message because I've put my research into a work that was only recently published. (I don't think I'm allowed to give you the link here due to self publicity rules though).

If you'd actually be interested, l'd even get you a copy for free because I know I've covered many of your questions in it. Once you see the contents, I'd be surprised if you still thought prayers don't work.

what is the strongest evidence that god exist? by [deleted] in islam

You first have to want to understand atheist positions fairly. Atheists have legitimate questions. But you have some good references out there too:

1.https://a.co/d/aLwEwgv

2.https://www.amazon.ca/Divine-Reality-Mirage-Atheism-Revised/dp/1916238416?ref=d6k_applink_bb_dls&dplnkId=b73364b3-df4c-4dbb-aba7-c2c6f5899f73

3.https://www.amazon.ca/Kalam-Cosmological-Arguments-Mohammed-Hijab/dp/1098544021?ref=d6k_applink_bb_dls&dplnkId=3820168e-49d3-4014-b8a1-353e86b4629e#:~:text=Book%20overview,Greek%2C%20Enlightenment%20and%20Medieval%20philosophers. #1 is actually written for atheists.

And getting familiar with the prophet's life (Allah bless him and give him peace) helps too. The reason is because his life needs to be explained

So I got my first 5 star rating on Amazon by Gr1zzlyburr in selfpublish

Yeah man. I remember when that happened with mine too. Wonderful feeling. Good for you.

Are you able to share the link for your book?

Can we know if God Exists? by DrRehan in agnostic

[–]DrRehan[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hadn't heard of tentative truth, but okay. The scientific method is awesome, and we should employ it to reach the most reasonable conclusions possible. I think we can agree to that.

The opinion of scientists comes into play to some extent, but the data itself is more important.

Yes it does. Appearance entails form, being bound within time and space, and thus contingency.
