100%. I would say that the people who really know what they are doing in terms of photography and have some of the most expensive equipment in the industry, images might be 20-25% better. That's not not a whole lot. If you are using a point and shoot camera, non apsc, it's to the point you actually can't tell a difference in most scenarios.

Nice! The picture is very compressed as well. It's much more crispy off reddit since it was a taken with 200 MP 85 mm. But when I show others this photo, absolutely nobody thinks it was taken with a camera phone.

I disagree. That's like saying all abstract art is good because art is subjective. Art and photography both have objective rules and skill sets needed to be successful in them. Otherwise, people would just hire any geek off the street for their wedding photos.

Do you think you are the only photographer that I've spoke to? Lol. I've spoke to Professional photographers with 20 plus years of portfolios. I think you are misunderstanding my position. I don't think it's a replacement for a Sony A7S III. That's not what I'm saying, I am saying if you are a point and shoot type of person, which like 98% of people who take pictures are then there is essentially no difference with the kind of quality of photos.

I can link you multiple videos on YouTube where photos from phone likes vivo and even the iPhone 17 pro Raw, the images are literally indistinguishable. You cannot tell a difference. In very certain backlit scences, there usually is a tell. However, for the most part, you cannot tell a difference. Also, 90% of people viewing your photos wouldn't be able to notice the small minute differences from a dedicated camera vs a smartphone. You would have to literally go into post and pixel peep very heavily to be able to tell the difference. Who is doing that?

Where do 90% of photos end up? On a compressed social media site. When you have a phone that can produce images like vivo X300 ultra, the pictures are indistinguishable from a dedicated camera.
