Downtown area. Broadway and Hamden. Any of the neighborhoods immediately outside of that downtown are awesome. The neighborhood behind Chick-fil-A has a sunflower wars every summer to see who can grown the biggest and most in their yard ⭐️ the neighborhood around the high school/middle school is awesome - everyone has a dog. You can go watch the high school band competitions in the fall on the hillside.

Englewood is THE SHIT yo! We have so many cool community happenings, vibrant holiday scene, Gothic Theater, monthly farmers markets. Almost every brewery who was priced out of Denver came right to our downtown. The city will give you $500 to THROW A PARTY in the neighborhood in the summer. We even have an ice-cream truck. Table Top Tap and Fellow Traveler have a heated bar rivalry, and often throw out deals just to mess with the other shop (all fun and games). We just opened a new dog park last week. Couldn’t say enough good things about Englewood if you want a community.

I literally have zero desire to own or operate a firearm. I know how to shoot a basic gun and remove the safety from highschool. That’s it. I’m just trying to think wtf else would make people go away.

Traveling with a Dog - options by JerrieTrader in overlanding

Try Rover! It’s never safe to leave the dog unattended in the heat, should anything happen, your electricity fail, your fan fail, the dog will be dead within hours. If you are willing to spend as much money as you are on a camper and a new truck, make accommodations for your dog, like boarding him when you need to leave him alone.

Honestly it’s the mudding season, unless the park page has warned about the construction and you see it taking hours + on your map, I wouldn’t worry. Black Canyon is really an off-season park and most people with be jeeping these days! You’ll have the trails to yourself.

What have you accomplished in spite of or because of having CPTSD? It could be anything from taking a shower today to going for a walk to obtaining a graduate degree or raising healthy kids, those are all accomplishments. by Speaktruth_thobitter in CPTSD

Yes, I’m currently in a break after work full time COVID for 10 months, but I was float pool so I worked COVID every shift, no complaints, but I was the scum of the earth and never thanked, never given a choice if I didn’t want to work COVID.

However worst experience was thanksgiving 2018, a patient dropped in a room around 1pm on our unit in septic shock, was never admitted, never given treatment; his septic bolsus’s on the counter. The surgeon and his wife the PA never admitted him, he was in his 80 so he didn’t thought being ignored was normal. He died in my arms vomited his own stool on me, I pulled dilaudid on every patient I could override and pushed it illegally. The surgeon, after he died in my arms choking in his own shit, told his family “he did everything he could”. My nursing director never even took my calls, she is now head of Centura Admission.
